It definitely has an old school vibe and could use a bit of a revamp, but still was a pleasant experience. Doormen and security look intimidating, but were so friendly. I'm not a gambler but I'm definitely coming back here to watch my friends win again :)
I booked the Hyatt for my wife's birthday. The room on the 21st floor was fantastic with great views over Birmingham. Bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom very tidy.
Wrecked the vibe to be perfectly honest as we was super tiered and could have done with a nap before enjoying the rest of our night. We was really annoyed and not one staff member had the decency to even apologise for the delay. We both decided to leave and just go back home by 9pm the same evening. Very poor experience and a complete waste of money.
The shop also sells a wide take of kits and merchandise from England and Warwickshire kits to bats/hats/balls to kits from other International teams when playing England. England and Hundred matches also usually have games/entertainment for kids just outside the seating area.

Additionally, several other games were inaccessible. To add to our disappointment, when we attempted to redeem our tickets at the ticket eater machine, no receipt was issued. Fortunately, the service personnel acknowledged the number of tickets we had and manually distributed prizes to my children. The cleanliness of the mall was also a major concern. The washrooms were unpleasant, and the overall appearance of the building was outdated. While the restaurants appeared clean, the unappealing environment deterred us from dining there. In conclusion, my visit to StarCity was a complete disaster, and I will not be returning.
Located very close to Birmingham New Street (5 min walk), this hotel is ideally located for central areas including the Christmas Markets. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. The kitchen is well equipped, including hob, microwave oven and dishwasher are a blessing, making it a home from home.
Nice hotel with a really good and central location. Incredibly check here nice staff, and the hotel itself was nice and clean. A good room with a small kitchen with cutlery, dishwasher etc.
